Coriant Holds Over 1800 Patents And The World Record For Transmission Capacity

A major transformation is taking place in transport networks. The current demand for mobile video and cloud-based services is driving this transformation. Recent industry surveys show that service providers are facing several challenges from an increase in data growth and traffic patterns that are larger than anticipated. The end-user expectations are also having an impact on network services and service quality. The old methods of multi-layer transport platforms like Ethernet, optical and IP are unable to address new challenges, but innovative market leaders like Coriant are driving the dynamic evolution of transport network with new expertise and experience.

Coriant has more than 35 years of experience in delivering tier 1 networking services and products. The company was founded by Marlin Equity Partners after Nokia Siemens, Sycamore Network Solutions, Tellabs, and Networks Optical Networks Business were acquired. Coriant excels in research and development. The company has centers in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Coriant focuses on fixed line and mobile service providers, electric utilities, government agencies, large corporations, content providers and submarine network providers. Coriant has more than 500 clients in over 100 countries.

Mr. Kheradpir is well known in the technology industry. He started his career with GTE after receiving his PH.D. from Cornell University. Shaygan replaces Pat DiPietro as CEO and Chairman of the Board. DiPietro is now the Operating Manager of Marlin Equity Partners and the Vice Chairman of the Board of Coriant.

Shaygan Kheradpir developed several innovation programs at GTE, but when he was CIO of Verizon he made a major impression on the industry by developing systems like the FiOS, which is still in use today. Kheradpir then joined Barclay’s and redesigned the bank’s computer system. Shaygan was Operating Partner of Marlin Equity before he was named CEO of Coriant.

Kheradpir recently said that Coriant’s end-to-end portfolio of transport solutions gives network operators the ability to increase service velocity and improve resource utilization as well as reduce network complexity. Mr. Shaygan went on to say that his team has the ability to help network operators build scalable, flexible and resilient transport networks that can overcome the challenges and increase the opportunities that come with this amazing hyper-growth era. Coriant has a proven record of innovation, and with Kheradpir leading the company that record will only get better.

One of the main reasons Coriant is considered one of the major elements in the transformation of transport networks is the new CEO and Chairman of the Board, Shaygan Kheradpir. There are so many things that essay review would have been able to conceive that all these things have been able to transform which makes it so easy too.
