A Go Fund Me Campaign That Benefits Homeless Animals in New York

On January 13, 2016, Ross Abelow launched a campaign that is meant to help homeless animals in the New York City area. He set up this winter fundraiser using a Go Fund Me account in order to benefit homeless animals. His goal is to raise at least $5,000 that will be donated to animal shelters in the New York City area. The money that is raised and then donated to the shelters will be used to purchase items that are needed to take care of homeless animals, like blankets, food, and medicine. Also, the money will be used in order to increase the amount of space that is available where homeless animals can be taken care of.

This is an especially important fundraiser since winter is a very dangerous time for homeless animals. Many homeless animals die during the winter if they are not able to find shelter and temperatures drop below freezing. The financial resources that will be made available through this Go Fund Me account will be used to solve this problem, at least for some animals.

Ross Abelow was an undergrad at the University of New York and then attain his law degree at the Brooklyn Law school in the late 1980’s. In 1990, he applied for his license to practice law in the state. He was granted his license and since that time he has been working to defend New York City residents who are facing difficult legal situations. He primarily works as a matrimonial and family lawyer. However, he has at times has taken cases that pertain to entertainment law and commercial litigation. After more than 25 years of working for other agencies and firms, he set up his own firm with a partner.

It is important for individuals to donate to this Go Fund Me campaign. Not only will the animals be able to be housed during these cold winter months, but they are more likely to be placed in forever homes if they are in the shelters. Little by little, the problem of homeless animals living on the streets during the cold winter can be solved. Individuals can donate $10 or more through this account. The more who donate, the more quickly the homeless animals will be helped.

Ross Abelow is particularly worried about this reason since he has seen firsthand the experience that destitute creatures have experienced amid the cool winter months. He is a local of New York City. That alone might make the best essays have these things working for them a whole lot of them time and it makes sense too for all.
