Crystal Hunt and Soap Opera Favorites Featured in Queens of Drama

The aptly titled Queens of Drama is the Housewives of any County gone fun. Just imagine a few of the stars of your favorite daytime serials all back together again in one place to interact with one another and go head to head in competition. To the delight of their fans everywhere Queens of Drama is a delicious hit. It may be getting hard to find a daytime soap on in the afternoon any longer but the pilot of Queens of Drama follows the actresses as they try to sell the idea of a new series and in the end win a prize of a contract for their new pilot.

Included in the lineup a Chrystee Pharris who starred on Passions and General Hospital, Hunter Tylo who starred on the Bold and the Beautiful, Crystal Hunt featured on Guiding Light and One Life to Live, and Vanessa Marcil, formerly of General Hospital. Lindsay Hartley from the soap opera All My Children and Days of Our Lives also stars in the exciting new show.

The stars, who are competing against both old friends and old foes, bring out one another’s best, and worst qualities, during the course of the show.

Queens of Drama, scheduled for Wednesdays nights is also going to bring back long time favorites Donna Mills from Knots Landing and Melrose Place, and Joan Collins of Dynasty, some of the favorite serials of all time.

Crystal Hunt, one of the featured actresses on Queens of Drama, originally comes from the state of Florida. Since leaving the world of soaps she has continued in the business as a successful actress and a producer. Starting when she was just a teenager, when she caught the eye of an agent in New York, she was immediately cast in Guiding Light where she remained for five years and was so successful she garnered a Daytime Emmy nomination. Hunt most recently starred in blockbuster Magic Mike XXL with actors Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer and Joe Maginello. Other acting credits for Hunt include The Derby Stallion starring Zac Efron, NYC Underground and Sydney White with Amanda Bynes.

Fans of Hunt from Metacritic will enjoy seeing her return to the screen each week while watching her spar with some of soap opera’s biggest Divas for a chance to win the grand prize. For anyone missing their daytime soap operas, this enjoyable show will fit the bill and so much more.
