WEN: A Fine Product for Fine Hair

Those who have fine hair are no strangers to greasy roots and stringy strands. Take Emily McClure, Fashion Blogger for Bustle.com for example who decided to carry out a seven day trial of WEN by Chaz Dean Fig Cleansing Conditioner on her fine hair. The results were almost immediate. Upon applying the WEN product to her hair, Emily felt an instant thickening of its texture. While it took some time to adjust to the new product, by the seventh day, Emily noticed a consistent, positive change to her hair: it felt softer and looked shinier. One night over drinks, her friends confirmed that her hair was looking bouncier and more voluminous.

Why is Wen so effective? Perhaps the fact that WEN is really NEW spelled backwards is an indication of where Chaz Dean, its founder, is coming from. “It’s a whole new way of looking at [conditioner]” he says in a Huffington Post interview. WEN is a shampoo, conditioner and styling treatment all in one and is designed to save time and hair.
Chaz Dean developed WEN with the environment in mind. Dean is a proud supporter of the charity Global Green and makes sure that all of his products contain only natural ingredients. WEN is both sulfate and detergent free. Wen products are sold on Amazon and in the Sephora beauty market.

Dean has always had an eye for beauty and a soft spot for helping others. While attempting to become a professional photographer, he fell into cosmetology as a means to pay the bills. Before long, he was developing hair products and cutting locks for A-list celebrities. Since becoming a top notch hair stylist for the stars and a successful entrepreneur, he has aimed at giving back to charities like Stand Up to Cancer and Best Friends Animal Society among others. Dean stays grounded through Yoga, Pilates and four of his four legged friends: Hunter, Spencer, Riley June and Bella Moon.
