Sujit Choudhry, the Constitutional Guru

The instability in the democratization in Ukraine that has existed for more than two decades now has become a cause for concern. From this reason, a group of topnotch researchers and constitutional experts held a meeting in the country’s capital to discuss the way forward for this nation that has concentrated its power in the legislative system, the prime minister, and the presidency. Sujit Choudhry is a professor at the School of Law at Berkley and a director at the Centre for Constitutional Transitions. The world knows him as an expert on relevant constitutional law and political affairs. He has experience which greatly stretches in the process of building the constitution having been part of the building process of the constitutions of several countries from all over the globe. A few of these countries are Ukraine, Yemen, South Africa, Nepal, and Egypt. At a mere 48 years of age, Choudhry who is on Indian Nativity has gained significant recognition in his line of work and has received numerous awards like the Rhodes Scholarship making him a worthy attendee of the workshop held to assist Ukraine.
