Chris Burch is Constantly in the Spirit of Giving

Operating out of New York City, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Burch Creative Capital, Chris Burch, had led a successful career that has spanned nearly 40 years by utilizing his incredible understanding of investing and entrepreneurship. Using his unique eye for identifying potentially disruptive brands, he has used his skill set, a sound combination of creative ability and financial understanding, to support these companies through incubation and scaling.

To date, Mr. Burch has been instrumental in the successful development of more than 50 companies, helping them to grow considerably. Being that giving is such an integral part of Mr. Burch’s lifestyle, he recently broke down a list of unique, even quirky gifts that he is planning to give to several of his loved ones. In his blog, he recently listed six specific gifts, including a Snowe Home Candle Set, candies from Pretzables or Fat Sundays, a Barbour Gisburne jacket, a Trademark Cooper Cage Tote, a U.S. Jaclean Zero-Gravity Massage Chair, and one charitable gift.

Because of Chris Burch’s desire to invest in passion and creativity, he decided to create Burch Creative Capital. Prior to launching Burch Creative Capital, he realized that it was his desire to help entrepreneurs, who lacked his resources and intimate knowledge of the business, to bring their incredible ideas to the forefront ( He summed this up by stating, “We match ideas with funding to bring extraordinary possibilities to the world,” and since its inception, he has helped to bring a variety of organizations to the next level, including Tory Burch, Water, Jawbone, Powermat, Next Jump, Poppin, and Voss. Recently expanding their portfolio, Burch Creative Capital began working with a number of rising companies, including TRADEMARK, Nihi Sumba Island, Cocoon9, and ED by Ellen DeGeneres. In 2014, Chris Burch began his partnership with Cocoon9 and Ellen DeGeneres. He is the former President of the Co-Op Board at The Pierre Hotel and has played a significant role in the funding of a number of initiatives, including The Sumba Foundation, The Child Welfare League of China, and the Mt. Sinai Hospital located in New York.  Related article on
