Krishen Iyer was born and raised in Carlsbad, California. He graduated from Bullard High School in 1998 and went ahead to join San Diego State University in South California. He graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration. After his graduation, he started his career in the insurance sector where he worked at the company’s call center. In due time, he was involved in the management of potential leads for insurance companies operating in the dental and health sectors. In 2016. He launched a marketing company, Quick Link Marketing, which was later rebranded to Managed Benefits Services to focus on providing promotion and marketing services to the health and dental insurance companies and providers. According to Krishen Iyer, marketing directors should work on their skills. Most marketing directors understand the basics of marketing and advertising and the building of digital strategies.
